Directed by, the long-awaited sequel to the iconic film returns Cruise as the ultra-gifted and confident Capt. Pete “Maverick” Mitchell.
The film co-stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell and Ed Harris, while Val Kilmer also makes a brief appearance as “Iceman,” Maverick’s one-time nemesis-turned-pal. The film also features Lady Gaga’s ballad “Hold My Hand,” while the producing team includes Jerry Bruckheimer, who guided the original film.
Top Gun Maverick is Tom Cruise's highest-grossing movie. I think that's pretty cool.

If they make this new movie I hope the 3D version is better than the last movie. It was a waste of money buying it in 3D barely anything...it should have been like Gravity that 3D DVD was FREAKIN AWESOME! Had you ducking thinking something was coming at you.

If they have another sequel/spin off they have to have Cougar's son in it. He would have a bigger chip on his shoulder than Mav if they decide to include him.

Tom cruise? Never liked him. Every one of his characters is just the same as the next. Whether he plays a bartender, a race driver, a pilot, a gambler with a mentally challenged brother, or Dakota Fanning’s dad in War of the Worlds, Tom Cruise always plays the arrogant asshole
