Queen Elizabeth II took in an equestrian pageant called “A Gallop Through History” over the weekend, one of the many programs planned as part of the Platinum Jubilee.

The queen rarely misses the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which takes place just about 500 yards from her apartment in the nearby castle. However, her presence this year wasn’t assured after she canceled a planned appearance on Thursday. A source toldthat she chose to see her other horses privately that day, adding “She simply changed her mind.
