Look Ahead: This week, enjoy live music at Red Butte, yoga at sunset, and movies for children.

A boy meets an alien girl , in the Vietnamese film "Maika," directed by Ham Tran, the opening-night film of the Tumbleweeds Film Festival for Kids, which runs May 20-22, 2022, at the Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center in Taylorsville.

A sure sign of summer — and a sign that people are putting the COVID-19 pandemic behind them: Concerts are back at Red Butte Garden. The series starts Wednesday, May 18, with Icelandic blues-rock band Kaleo , and continues Friday, May 20, with the Trey Anastasio Band, the side project of Phish’s guitarist. Both start at 7 p.m.; gates open at 6 p.m.
