An Alabama church apologizes for 'freak show' comments by GOP gubernatorial candidate Tim James.

covered James’ visit to Richmond, Virginia, which he describe as politically “blue,” or Democratic, and noted people around him looked like “they were from Mars.”

“They were tattoos from the head to the toe,” James said. “Some girl came walking by. I mean she was about six four, plus her heels, and she had a great big old mohawk, nothing down each side but a tattoo. And it was a freak show.” In its post, Life Chapel doesn’t mention James by name but said its “mission is to bring God’s love to life.”

“The specific comment that concerned many people was concerning people that looked differently, particularly ones with tattoos and certain hairstyles and clothing or lifestyle choices. “Life Chapel’s mission is to bring God’s love to LIFE. Everyone’s life. Every nationality and every background... Every person who expresses themselves differently and how they look and the choices they make,” the church said. “For far too long, the church has been a place lacking hope and comfort for every type of person…A place where only certain people fit in or belong. This is not our heart, nor is it the heart of God.

I am glad to see some in Southern churches are returning to Christ-like values like “love thy neighbor”.

What a pathetic perspective. Really disappointed to see this level of idiocy continue to flourish

Why did a church even have this monster speaking? Why in the hell isn't this church paying taxes?

Times are a changing folks. We the people can improve our quality of life by voting for people with more modern and progressive outlooks. And last time I checked, not everyone is a southern Christian. Religion has no place in politics and legislation.

Still voting for James

As Michelle Obama says Tim James is what he is

Tim James confessed he was part of the political establishment. They all need to go

Hes not making fun of people with tattoos at all. Hes saying THEY are the ones who will lead a revival and further the kingdom of God! THEY are Azusa! Not the historically conventional churchgoing type. Google Azusa & it will Make sense.

Apparently old man is scared of tattooed women lmao

Vote dean odle

The photo from the Hoover Country Club deserves an explanation.

When you're less progressive than a Sand Mountain church...

So they’ll start paying taxes now since they’re involved in politics? lol jk churches are a racket.

No! Tim speaking junk is just like his father.
