It's very Doctor Who to imagine the Doctor would want to explore the universe from more that one perspective.

That'll please the inclusion arm of the beeb but may alienate fans, tick box selection can have a counter effect, Jody Whittaker's Dr. was very unpopular, time will tell if audiences are tired of virtue signalling.

If the way the BBC is approaching Doctor Who is the same, then changing the actor will have no affect. Stop beating people over the head with your misguided illogical political ideology.
