While acknowledging he's been very fortunate in his career, Jon Hamm admits there's one franchise he still wishes he could join: Star Wars. Someone call Lucasfilm, stat!

Jon Hamm explains why he really wants to join the Star Wars franchise. Hamm became famous playing ad man Don Draper on AMC’s prestige TV classic Mad Men. Next up the actor can be seen bossing around Tom Cruise as Vice Admiral Cyclone in the long-awaited action sequel Top Gun: Maverick.

"You know, I've been really fortunate in my career and I'll be the first one to say it. I don't have a lot of regrets. There haven't been a lot of movies that I've almost gotten that that, 'Oh, I would have been nice to be in and that. The only franchise that I always wanted to be in that I just never have been for whatever reason was the Star Wars franchise.
