The event is meant to celebrate the Bay Area’s diversity, with several food trucks and musicians to be on hand.

The festivities will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in Piedmont Park at the foot of Highland Avenue. An array of food trucks — from Curry Up Now, Ceviche & Co., La Santa Torta, Kiss My Boba and several others — will be on hand for guests to sample all sorts of foods.

The event is being sponsored by the Social Good Fund, a nonprofit that highlights community and environmental projects, art and more. Register to attend by visitingAlameda County’s six Leagues of Women Voters are hosting virtual candidate forums for the Alameda County offices of sheriff and superintendent of schools.

The forums also will be livestreamed on YouTube, where the recordings will later be available for future viewing.The 63rd annual White Elephant Sale, held over five weeks throughout March and through the first weekend of April, raised more than $1.4 million to support the Oakland Museum of California . The White Elephant Sale, organized and presented by the Oakland Museum Women’s Board, is the biggest annual fundraising event benefiting OMCA.
