There’s likely a baby on the way for singer Britney Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari.
Spears, 40, posted a photo of a pink teacup alongside pink flowers on her Instagram on Monday, April 11. “I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back…I thought ‘Geez… what happened to my stomach???’ My husband said ‘No you’re food pregnant silly!!!’ So I got a pregnancy test…and uhhhhh well…I am having a baby,” Spears wrote in the caption. “If 2 are in there…I might just [lose] it.
She continued to write that she wouldn’t be going out much due to paparazzi attempts to get a photo of her. She also opened up about her struggles withduring her previous pregnancy. “It’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression…I have to say it is absolutely horrible,” Spears said.
While fans are uncertain if the post serves as a pregnancy announcement from Spears, many have shared their congratulations. “Congratulations sis!! I’m so excited for you!! Love you!!!" Paris Hilton commented. Sarah Landry, the digital creator behind The Birds Papaya, also wrote, “SCREAMING IN JOY FOR YOU!! Congrats!!!”
Both Spears and Asghari have yet to elaborate further on the announcement. This would be the first child for the couple. Spears also shares two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
