It’s eyeing an October move from the Dallas Design District to near the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Dallas Museum of Art.

6:00 AM on Apr 8, 2022 CDT, which this past week made a big announcement. The foundation is a non-profit enterprise based in Dallas, where for two decades, it has distinguished itself by endowing museums with grants that support both acquisitions and exhibitions.

Last year, the foundation broadened its scope, moving beyond mere philanthropy to having its own physical space, at 150 Manufacturing St. in Dallas, where it shares a building with other occupants. But now, yet another move in broadening its scope. Summers says the foundation wanted its own space “to better display art to the public” and to have more room in which to do it, hence the forthcoming move.
