Peaky Blinders boss reveals TV comeback in first trailer for SAS: Rogue Heroes

will air its big finale tonight , but the show's creator Steven Knight has already got his TV comeback all lined up – and we've now got our first proper look at his gripping new drama series.today, with the six-part series promising to tell the epic story of how the world's greatest Special Forces unit, the SAS, was created during the Second World War.

The trailer, which you can watch above, transports us to Cairo, Egypt, in 1941, and introduces us to the"band of oddities, gentlemen and pirates" that make up the new SAS team as they travel across the desert in a 4x4.
