China’s Yi Zhou Launching Metaverse Extract of Upcoming ‘Stars and Scars’ Movie (EXCLUSIVE)

has launched a cluster of companies that have begun making feature movies for the metaverse.

In 2018, Zhou relocated to Los Angeles in order to increase her focus on developing entertainment endeavors. In 2021, she launched U.S.-based Into the Sun Entertainment and Into the Sun Films in Italy. Through these companies and another subsidiary in Hong Kong, Moon Prism Entertainment, she has begun work on an extract from her upcomingwhich will shoot later this year in Italy on a budget reported to be $20 million. The film is a futuristic tale about love, healing and hope set in 2080.

“We are excited to launch a metaverse studio for content,” said Zhou. “We believe it has a fast-growth potential for business and creative minds.”
