The wife of Oscar award-winning actor Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith, has broken her silence with a cryptic post about healing.

Pinkett-Smith posted in her Instagram account, the words "This is a season for healing and I'm here for it."

It can be recalled that her husband went on stage during Oscars night and slapped comedian Chris Rock, who had just delivered a joke about Jada's shaven head. It was in 2018 that Jada opened up about her struggles with Alopecia, which is an autoimmune disorder that causes hair to fall off. Will Smith had issued a statement to apologize to the Academy and to Chris Rock, saying that "Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive."

"Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally," he added.
