Romanian humanitarian\u002Daid drama plays like a horror but minus the jumps, scares

It opens with several Romanian aid workers distributing food among some rural villages. They are Maria , Ilinca and Dan , and along the way they decide to help a grizzled old millworker by giving him a lift. Unfortunately, the road they take is in bad shape, and their car gets stuck.

There’s some bickering among the workers, who don’t have a high opinion of the locals, though to be fair the locals don’t give much reason to. But you’d think humanitarians would be, I don’t know, more humanitarian.
