. The much-loved Houston event will take place April 9 with some 250 art cars rolling through downtown. The appearance of Bun B -- half of the legendary Port Arthur duo UGK -- comes just weeks after he brought his H-Town Takeover to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Bun will likely roll alone at the parade; he'd need a formidable vehicle to replicate the guest list for his Takeover, which included more than a dozen performers including Lil' Flip, Slim Thug, That Girl Lay Lay, Chamillionaire, Z-Ro, E.S.G.
Chronicle music critic Joey Guerra said the show"was an electric showcase of talent and an exhilarating moment of Houston pride."
