Hutchins’ widow Matt said in a tweet that his late wife’s Ukrainian-born parents Olga and Anatoly Androsovych have remained in Kyiv,He is also reported to have said that Olga continues to work in the hospital where she’s been a nurse for over three decades, tweeting that she continues ‘because her country needs her, but also because they cannot leave safely.’
Matt added that his wife’s sister Svetlana escaped to Romania safely alongside her three-year-old daughter, and will ‘continue onward to western Europe’. The father-of-one reportedly also urged for more support for Ukrainian refugees, military aid and diplomatic intervention to protect the country’s independence.
