Instead of landing normally, video shows that he was spiked on his head. Reports say he was removed from Legacy Arena where the event was held in Birmingham, Alabama via stretcher.

The 36-year-old later posted a video on Twitter from his hospital bed, sporting a neck brace, in which he thanked his fans for their outpouring of love and said he could “move all of my digits.”

“Strength feels fine, but unfortunately, right now they tell me my neck is broken. So, there’s that. Once again, thank you. Everybody, I’m going to be alright. I’ll be good. Don’t worry.”
