CLEVELAND, Ohio – A partnership between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Caesars Entertainment is another step toward fans being able to place a bet in Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the team announced today.
Caesars Sportsbook will have betting windows for cash wagering and offer hospitality experiences for Caesars Rewards members. The venue will cover about 10,355 square feet and will feature a full-service bar and VIP lounge, menu and televisions. The Cavs and Caesars Entertainment will share the build-out’s cost. Construction is expected to start soon.
The sportsbook will be open year-round on event and non-event days for fans with tickets to events and those without tickets. Wagers will be accepted for other sports, not just basketball. “As we prepare to launch sports betting in Ohio later this year, this wide-ranging partnership enables us to connect with the Cavs passionate and highly engaged fanbase. Caesars Sportsbook at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will be a first-class venue providing an exciting atmosphere for sports betting and more,” Chris Holdren, co-president of Caesars Digital, said in a release.
