Astronaut captures magical shot of the moon and Earth | Digital Trends

Astronaut Mark Vande Hei has shared a sublime shot of the moon and Earth captured from the International Space Station.

Shockingly bright as I opened our shades, the Moon lingered, strutting by. Lots of time to find good camera settings! Soon we’ll be exploring our neighbor again. pic.twitter.

As for Vande Hei, he’s clearly enjoying his second visit to the space station, which orbits 250 miles above Earth. Besides grabbing the occasional stunning image, he’s also working on various science experiments in the unique microgravity conditions that the ISS provides.
