Soulful singer Rebecca Jade, the rootsy San Diego band Mrs. Henry, country-rocking singer-songwriter Sara Petite and the indie-rock group The Verigolds are among the top nominees for the 2022 San Diego Music Awards.
Grammy Award-wining troubadour Jason Mraz is nominated in the Song of the Year category, in which he will be vying against fellow Grammy winners Switchfoot and such nationally acclaimed San Diego artists as Angels & Airwaves, Slightly Stoopid and Wavves. The other two Song of the Year nominees are Jade and Thee Sacred Souls.
