Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem were the advertised heavy-hitter lineup at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in the showdown between the LA Rams and Cincinnati Bengals at Super Bowl LVI.But there were a couple of surprises in store for Super Bowl halftime fans.
Dr. Dre and Snoop opened the show, then turned things upside down with an unscheduled performance by 50 Cent, who was literally upside down, hanging from the platform below the stage.The legends delivered a string of hits. Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg opened, performing “California Love” and other hits in trailers that looked like cabanas. There were classic cars and a field full of dancers that were the subject of controversy when several posted that they weren’t getting paid.

As Dr. Dre performed on the piano on stage, Eminem, never one to be silenced, took a knee and held his head, a salute to Colin Kaepernick and the fight against racial injustice. The NFL's racism must be called out, and there's no longer a fascist cheeto in power to support them. Although I'm sure postmedia will offer up some kind of complaint from rex murphy or conrad black, assuming those two aren't still on damage control for the CPC this week.
