Elaine is grateful she gets on so well with Simon because it could have gone 'horribly wrong'

Elaine Crowley admits her move to Ireland AM could have gone 'horribly wrong' because she had never met Simon Delaney before.

"It could have gone horribly wrong - we had no rehearsal time together at all because it happened so quickly - but thankfully, it didn't. I get on great with Simon." But Elaine was happy Virgin Media decided to keep her on amid what was a stressful time in her personal life. "I feel guilty saying it, but I was kind of burnt out from it. I had done as much as I could with it and I knew it was time to do something different because my heart wasn’t in it, to be honest with you," she explained.
