I’m a treadmill gal. I have one at home, and I love running. It clears my head. But I do love going to the gym. I make time for it now, whereas I used to not be able to. It’s about the physical aspect, but it’s more so about the mental wellness that going to the gym brings for me. I find balance in it: Stress relief, better sleep.
I think we’re all striving to be better about health and wellness this year. What else do you do to maintain a sense of balance? I have my routines. At home, I’ll get up and have my tea in the morning, drink tons of water, and then I’ll get on the treadmill. Sometimes I’ll even put on, like, a reality TV show, and do a workout on the mat. I’m trying to get better at using the weights at the gym, too. I’ve never been good at that, but I’m pushing myself to do that more now.Because I’ve never done a podcast, it’s been a learning experience for me as I go, which is the fun part about it.
