✖ The Batman is a fresh reboot that's already setting up at least two other HBO Max spin-offs. Both Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves have pushed the film's one-off take but even then, Pattinson still admits the film will end up setting up its sequel by the time everything is tied up nice and tight.
"I mean, they always have that little bit at the end, that's like: '...and coming up!' But other than that, it feels strangely personal. I think people will be quite shocked at how different it is," Pattinson told the magazine. Reeves previously said the movie is about Pattinson's Bruce Wayne really settling in his role as Bruce Wayne and figuring out what it means to become the Caped Crusader.
Probably a cameo from a villain at the end.

As great as the movie looks, can we wait and see how this does in the box office and with critics before talking about sequels? Am I the only person who remembers what happened with the TASM universe sequels and those spin offs? Silver and Black, TASM 3, Venom (at the time)

God, I’m so excited for this BUT I hope it’s not Joker, I believe whatever Matt does with the character will be amazing if he gets round to it but there’s so many other villains we should see before hand

That’s wonderful.😁 I’m pretty sure a sequel is in the works as we speak, especially as we’ll be getting a spin-off show (maybe even a second spin-off show) on HBO Max, so it seems like this Batman universe isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon.
