Joni Mitchell wants music removed from Spotify in covid row

The singers Joni Mitchell and Neil Young have removed their music from the Spotify app as part of a protest against “irresponsible people” they say are spreading false information about Covid.

Hundreds of scientists and medical professionals have signed an open letter criticising Spotify for hosting the Joe Rogan podcast, which has 200 million downloads every month, accusing him of repeatedly spreading false and misleading claims, including unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.
