To help with the healing process, she began focusing on creating her own artwork, which led her to meet the former owners of magazine. They featured her in the 2018 May issue. At that time, she had started her studio. Through a couple of conversations, the former owners of the magazine asked her to serve as their creative director.
Also, through her studio, she serves as the creative director of The Ellen Hermanson Foundation in the Hamptons and O’Neill’s Pub & Grill in the Hudson Valley. Her other artwork can be seen in Loves Gallery in Southampton. Additionally, her artwork has been sold in 15 different countries. provides information and resources to help victims.
