There are many TikTok stars. But few evolve to become music artists.

I said, 'Sure, why not?' in my head. Looking back at it now, the stuff we made was so cringe, but those were funny moments! It's the reason that I'm here where I am today. : That's awesome. You also mentioned that you played instruments too growing up. What were some of your favorite instruments to play? : Definitely. Some of my favorites are piano and guitar.

Whenever I first blew up, I would say it was so slow at first. I had a million followers because it converted from my Musical.ly from back in the day. They were mostly dead followers. Because it was musically days, and I was getting like 5,000 views, not even likes, but views. I thought I was done with this. Then right after, I had my first viral video, and I was like, 'oh s**t.' Okay. I had my own little content house, and we had many popping TikTokers there. We just kept collabing.

That's when I knew this was going to be a huge impact on my whole career, specifically because of how well my followers transferred over from one platform to another that I was present on.: TikTok fans are like the most loyal fans I've ever had. They like everything that you like, say, or do.

Many people fell into the black hole, but I kept my head straight. I think that's why I'm so successful right now. : There are personal and professional sides to you as you're creating your music. I'm sure you have like artists that you look up to and are inspired by them. Who are some of those artists, and how did they shape some of the songs you have come out with? : I would say [Justin] Bieber is a huge influence on my music career.

I remember when Russ had like half a million followers, he was selling out like 8,000 people a show, you what I'm saying? It's just different. For now, we want to work with whoever we feel is right for us. Whether that would be like major record labels eventually at some point for distribution, I'm open to it. I want whatever's going to roll it out the best and most efficient way and push it out to the most people for charting and getting on the new music Fridays.
