Colm shared that people kept “having a go” at him for not being Gerry after he took over the late radio presenter’s slot on 2FM

The pair took over the late radio presenter’s slot on 2FM when he died in 2010 and spent three months on-air.Colm told RSVP Live about his relationship with Lucy and how the hosting duo got their start together.“We were brought together from Gerry Ryan’s death and we were asked to cover his show, which we did for 12 weeks.

“We never wanted to be like Gerry. But because we felt like people were having a go at us, it made us really strong. With their early morning starts, Colm says that they each help each other when they’re not feeling their best.
