A new piece of fan art has united Eric Bana, Edward Norton, and Mark Ruffalo for a Spider-Man: No Way Home-style Hulk movie in a poster. Bana starred in Ang Lee's 2003 film, Hulk, while Norton's The Incredible Hulk introduced the strongest Avenger to the Marvel universe. Ruffalo picked up the role from Norton, becoming the face of the MCU's Bruce Banner throughout many productions, starting with 2012's The Avengers.
While Ruffalo has become the most recognizable face of Bruce Banner on-screen, there have been many actors portraying the character in live-action. Actors Bill Bixby and Lou Ferringo played Banner and his gamma-powered alter-ego, the Incredible Hulk, in a 1978 television series and several TV movies. With the renewed interest in superhero movies in the early 2000s, Lee tried his hand at a Hulk adaptation in 2003, casting Bana.
While circumstances may differ from Spider-Man: No Way Home, a"Hulk-Verse" movie would be possible with the MCU's lore. Though Norton and Ruffalo play the same version of Banner, with What If..? retconning Ruffalo into the events of The Incredible Hulk, Norton's appearance could be treated as a variant from an alternate timeline, much like those seen in Loki.
Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo are the same Hulk.
The movie no one is clamoring for…
Abomination and the leader show up. Eric Bana hulk: stares at rock and has a flashback. Edward Norton hulk: actually tries to fight them. Mark Ruffalo banner: takes gamma infused viagra to become hulk cuase thanos made him impotent
I would settle for a MarkRuffalo only Hulk, please - love, your mom
