RTE viewers have slammed last night's New Year's Eve Countdown show, which was presented by Una Healy and featured performances from special guests including Nathan Carter, Lyra, Mick Flannery and Susan O'Neill.
The show took place at Dublin Castle and was originally meant to be presented by the 2 Johnnies, but singer and broadcaster Una stepped in after Government restrictions forced a change of plans."Sorry @UnaHealy. It seems RTÉ left you on a rock tonight. I needed to tune into BBC2 with Joel's Holland after 5 mins. Ireland really needs to up its game as this stage," one wrote on Twitter.
"RTE were 30 seconds late with the countdown. I was on the edge of my seat wondering if Una Healy would ever interrupt the guests to do it," another added. She took to Instagram to share some snaps of her look and fans were absolutely loving it."Looking beautiful and breathtaking all rolled into one Una. Long may you continue to shine," another fan agreed.
It was terrible, real lazy show. No effort and the count down was late 🤷♀️
