Analysis | The very witchy ‘Suspiria’ is supposed to be a radically feminist movie. How so?An exploration in the form of Luca Guadagnino's remake — six acts and an epilogue. Just watched the original film again for Halloween the other night--it's hokey but some of the scares and style hold up. Will probably check out the remake as well. At some point I used to think witches were sexy. Thank you for setting me straight. Disturbing but not the film’s frequent nudity. Real feminism does start somewhere else.
