But after a few episodes, they become more than their stereotypes, and the story doesn't flow the way you think it would. Instead, Jessica has a strong sense of self-worth and can see clearly through rose-tinted glasses; Luca's intimacy issues are deeply rooted in trauma that she overcomes for love, and Abi takes ownership of her sexuality and doesn't let other people define her by it.
