Oscars are awarded to filmmakers. Majority of superhero movies are made in computers, how does that qualify as filmmaking? that’s content creation, something capable of destroy the beloved industry instead. If they start getting Oscars they might as well give them to YouTubers.

Most MCU films follow predictable formulas, that while enjoyable, do not push films in an interesting direction. Some do, but the majority do not. It's as simple as that, Kevin.

I love the MCU for what it is, and have watched every one of them (pre-pandemic) in a theater, but the idea that the reason they don't win many awards is because of anti Marvel bias is laughable. Kevin, if your movies were more like, say, Logan was, you might win more awards.

I hope Disney/Marvel will campaign for Tony Leung in Best Supporting Actor. They owe him that much. This film wouldn't be anywhere near as good as it is without Tony Leung.

Shang Chi wasn't that good and honestly neither was Black Panther. The only good comicbook movie that truly deserved its accolades belongs to Christopher Nolan’s Batman.

It's just generally...not good enough. Dune will be up for big awards.
