Over 100,000 new jobs are expected to be created from the ongoing EnjoyNigeria expo, especially in the creative, entertainment, culture industries.

The expo, which began Monday, is also targeting several jobs from the travel and trade sectors of the economy from 2021 to 2023.

The expo is themed, ‘A future Assured through Cultural Creativity’, is a public-private partnership involving the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment as well as the Ministry of Information and Culture. EnjoyNigeria expo promoter, Mohmood Tunde Hassan, said the expo was expected to empower women and youths with entrepreneurial skills to facilitate innovations as well as connect them to the bigger markets.

He said the project would make available a national database for micro, small and medium enterprises in rural areas to connect them with the market.
