Leaked documents show Amazon Music wants to scrap a controversial companywide performance review system that some say unfairly fires employees

The change targets unregretted attrition rate, or the percentage of staff Amazon doesn't mind losing.

In its zeal to help Amazon become"Earth's best employer," one division is considering an overhaul of the company's controversial performance review system, according to recent internal documents obtained by Insider. "Once these two components of the program are clarified in the coming weeks, we'll circle back with a full proposal for how we intend to replace URA and reinvent performance management for Amazon Music," the document said.
