South Korean K-pop group TWICE poses for a photo after an interview in Seoul, South Korea, Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021. TWICE, the nine-member K-pop band with over nine million Twitter followers, says they feel the growing popularity of the band and K-pop overseas.
“People didn’t know as much about us as they do now,” band member Jihyo told The Associated Press ahead of last week’s release of the band’s third full-length album “Formula Of Love: O+T=3,″ adding that the growing popularity of K-pop around the world has allowed the band to release more English tracks.
TWICE released their first full English-language single “The Feels” in October, which was their first song to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Jeongyeon had surprised her bandmates by announcing that she’d briefly helped out a friend by working as a barista — a breath of fresh air for the star who’d announced a hiatus since September citing mental health issues.Jihyo, who co-wrote several songs for the new album, said she’d taken inspiration from real-life events, including the death of a houseplant.
Who?
You can't really tell if they are Boy's or Girl's🤣 They pay recording company's, to be in these group's.
Girl's please! 24 in Seoul, with stops at five U.S. venues in February. Unless they are in bikini's no one in the U.S. wants to see these chick's!🤣
Why do these kpop bands have so many members? I don't get it and I don't want to.
There are to many K-pop phenoms. Getting too hard to keep track, I think we should slow down.
