Attorneys for armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed, who oversaw weapons on the set where Alec Baldwin fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, say she doesn’t know where the live rounds came from. They are blaming producers for unsafe working conditions.

FILE - This Oct. 23, 2021, file photo, shows the Bonanza Creek Ranch in Santa Fe, N.M., where actor Alec Baldwin pulled the trigger on a prop gun while filming “Rust” and unwittingly killed a cinematographer and injured a director. Experts predict a tremendous legal fallout.

Gutierrez Reed was the armorer on the set of “Rust.” The 24-year-old, who had worked on one previous feature film, hasn’t spoken publicly about the accident. “Hannah was hired on two positions on this film, which made it extremely difficult to focus on her job as an armorer,” they said. “She fought for training, days to maintain weapons, and proper time to prepare for gunfire but ultimately was overruled by production and her department. The whole production set became unsafe due to various factors, including lack of safety meetings. This was not the fault of Hannah.

Others have raised questions about the production. The film’s gaffer, Serge Svetnoy, earlier faulted the movie’s producers for “negligence.” After lunch, the film’s prop master, Sarah Zachry, removed the guns from the safe and handed them to Gutierrez Reed — Gutierrez Reed told investigators.

WHO are the producers &what are their political affiliations? I can think of some ppl who think it’s the best thing ever that Alec Baldwin shot &killed a person on a film set. Their idol’s last name starts with T & ends in rump. They’re LOVING the fact that this happened.

She’s guilty as it’s her job to prepare the guns safely. Not surprising she wishes to deflect the blame. Producers will be fined for associated negligence if it can be proven.

Hrowing up I ws taught that saying ' I don't know' was not a answer but a cover from the truth.

They are all responsible

Everyone involved is in cover your ass mode.

It was literally her job to know & make sure the gun was safe & ready to use on the set. Every crew member gets a daily schedule so she knew they were rehearsing a scene were Alec shot the gun towards camera. That means CLEAN GUN, NO AMMUNITION OF ANY KIND. She sucks at her job

It’s literally her job ..

Bullshit scape goating........it was her ONLY job. However it should be a lesson to all producers......movie sets are no place for real guns ever!

👇🏻🤷🏻‍♂️

This whole situation breaks my brain.

Dave Halls has a lot of explaining to do
