Val Zod joins the growing Outlier Society TV slate that spans big-budget IP-driven material as well as prestige tastemaker fare. Those include the TV projectsboth at Amazon Studios where Outlier Society has its overall deal. Film projects on Outlier Society’s upcoming slate include Amazon Studios’ adaptation of the Akwaeke Emezi novel, which is being scripted by Randy McKinnon, with Reginald Hudlin also producing alongside Outlier.
I so really wish that Warner Bros gave Michael B. Jordan a theatrical Val-Zod movie instead of just a limited HBO Max series because this is the first time we are going to have a Black Superman on screen! It would of been so perfect for theaters but it’s going to HBO Max instead!

Looks like it's gonna be a TV show than a movie...which I don't mind.

All those who complain that it goes straight to HBOMax, if they know that if there were no HBOMax, these movies would never have the slightest chance of existing.
Glad this is getting adapted, but I wish it were for theaters unless if it's like a limited series

Another DC superhero flick starring a POC going straight to HBOMax. I can understand Batgirl, Black Canary, Blue Beetle & Static Shock to a certain extent because they’re less popular w/ mainstream audiences but this is fuckin Superman 😂 I would’ve sent this to the big screen
