On social media, Cole - who now performs under the single name Cheryl - said she felt "drained" after her friend's death. "It has been a long and emotionally exhausting 12 months with such twists and turns and I feel now I just need some time to sit with my feelings and process the grief," she said. "Saying goodbye to somebody [you] spent such a massive piece of your life with is like nothing else. My heart is heavy."
I can't imagine what she must be going through after losing someone she knew for so long. I really hope this helps her heal x
