Cherry Pie Picache on secret to showbiz longevity: Take craft of acting seriously

“Sa mga bata ngayon, katulad din noong nag-uumpisa ako, sabi ko nga, old school ako, so ang dami kong natutunan din doon sa mga tinitingala ko, nirerespeto at iniidolo kong mga actors before,” she said during the online press conference last Sept. 2 for her latest TV series, “Marry Me, Marry You.”

Picache hopes that young stars don’t get offended when she shares with them what she learned in the past. Some of the things she learned from actors who came ahead of her were respect and discipline, while noting that most of the young actors she’s worked with are disciplined and respectful.
