The"You Gonna Make A Call While I'm Pouring Out My Heart to You?" fromI don't like how quickly Leslie forgives Scott, but something about the simple cheesiness wins me over, even if just for a little bit.It's sweet and simple, but it lacks...something. Not to mention it's tainted by his lies throughout the movie.I love this movie even though it's filled with sexist stereotypes and they're both lying to and manipulating each other the entire time.
And, even though this kiss is so, so unrealistic – and not in a fun way – it makes me smile, a lot.The little exchange they have right before they kiss is so stilted, but I do like how much the kiss feels like a big moment.It's such a wonderful and romantic scene, but the kiss isn't what's noteworthy, and that's what we're doing here.Again, a great scene, but the kiss isn't what makes it great.
