After weeks of speculation, “Jeopardy!” announced on Wednesday that the show will have not one, but two new hosts for the iconic American game show.
Mike Richards, the show’s executive producer, and actress Mayim Bialik will host the show following one of the most closely watched hiring searches in show business, according to Sony Pictures Television. “Richards will kick off Season 38 as the full-time host of Jeopardy!’s long-running daily syndicated program. Bialik joins as the host of Jeopardy!’s primetime and spinoff series, including the upcoming all-new Jeopardy! National College Championship,” a press release announcing the new hosts stated.
Mr. Richards has come under fire for his involvement in discrimination lawsuits during his tenure as executive producer of “The Price Is Right.”to backlash against his candidacy for the job. “I want you all to know that the way in which my comments and actions have been characterized in these complaints does not reflect the reality of who I am or how we worked together on ‘The Price Is Right,’“ he said in a letter to ”Jeopardy" staffers.
I love her!
Neither are compelling choices.
Richards did a great job & Bialik wasn’t my 1st choice but several were much worse. She did a good job.
Boring choices.
So it wasn't a search
