Pierce Brosnan announces his first ever art exhibition show

The Bond star is no stranger to picking up a paintbrush, and shared on Instagram he will sell some of his paintings from his personal collection he has built up through his hobby since 1987.

The creative actor expressed it was time to exhibit and shared his plans to curate his art “So come year’s end I shall have my first art show in L.A...if not now, when? Time to let them go.”He previously told Origin magazine in an interview, “I paint figurative and landscape portraits. It’s all in my own kind of style. I’m self-taught.”

In an interview with People Magazine in Spring 2021, he shared how he left school “with nothing but a cardboard folder of drawings and paintings,” he said. Pierce returned to painting after the tables turned. He abandoned art for acting; he found comfort in artistic expression during his first wife, Cassandra Harris’ battle with cancer in 1987.
