This sounds brilliant! Who's excited?

Paramount have green lit a new Grease prequel - which is set four years before the famous film, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John - about the famous four: Rizzo, Frenchy and Marty.

Marty Bowen and Erik Feig are also set to executive produce for Temple Hill and Picturestart respectively. Sarah Aubrey, head of content at HBO Max, said in a statement two years ago: "Grease is an iconic pop-culture phenomenon that works for every generation, and I’m thrilled that our friends at Paramount were excited about the idea of opening up the show and putting it on a larger canvas for a weekly series.

Starring in the hit movie together, Olivia and John were always subjected to romance rumours but the 69-year-old recently revealed just why she couldn't have dated her co-star whilst filming the movie and how their on-screen chemistry was better for it.
