I’m totally the opposite of the anti vax crowd. I’m vaccinated but I don’t trust the level of effectiveness of the vaccine particularly over time. So I double mask in all public places. I never use an elevator with someone else. And so on.
Does that mean 3-4% of those who died were fully vaccinated? I would like to understand that better. That seems like a large number for vaccines that are suppose to prevent serious illness and death. I’m glad I’m vaccinated. But I still double mask in public.
It took a long while and many gruesome long term injuries & deaths before many started to wear helmets when biking. Seat belt use was similarly slowly adopted. So just leave the reluctant unvaccinated alone. We cannot and will not save them all. And that is not a bad thing.
