I’m not going to comment on BBC agenda, etc. I’m just gutted they didn’t cast nickjfrost as the new Dr Who. I think he would of totally revitalised the show and put it firmly back into the realm of escapist entertainment.
I think that people commenting here should remember that he was the star of a recent hit drama - which received MASSIVE ratings - penned by a previous writer of Doctor Who. Also, said drama was a huge hit with the 16-34's, whom the BBC need to attract for the future of the Corp.
