DATA from the Health Ministry showed that the severity of Covid symptoms and the likelihood of death increased with age and the existence of comorbidities.
An infographic on Covid deaths dated June 1 showed that 88%, or 2,510 of the 2,867 victims were 50 and older. Eighty-eight percent of them had more than one comorbidity, and 85% had Stage 4 and 5 symptoms and required respiratory assistance.
