FOREMOST Artiste Manager and former Chairperson of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners , Eki Faith Eboigbe, is set to lead her Entertainment Bus-Stop Limited, to join in the rest of the world to celebrate the International Day of Families on Saturday, May 15, 2021 with an event dubbed Family Meeting.
This year’s International Day of Families is themed: ‘Confronting Family Poverty and Security Concerns – Families Responsibilities and Challenges’ and Eki disclosed that the annual commemoration of the International Day of Families was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993. According to the distinguished theatre artiste, “The family unit is the bedrock for sustainable development, it is essential for every society to create a supportive environment where family members realize their potential to contribute to achieve world peace.
“The goal is to engage the family unit as an advocate in changing the COVID-19 Vaccine narratives and for the communities to understand the need and urgency to get vaccinated and adhere to the COVID-19 protocol, in order to save lives, the sooner we get vaccinated, the earlier we get back to normal, especially, those with underlining conditions and the average men and women who are more vulnerable,’’ she noted, adding that in commemoration of this year’s programme, her outfit will be engaging...
A Theatre Arts practitioner, an alumnus of the University of Lagos, The National Institute for Cultural Orientation, Fate Foundation Entrepreneurs Business School and Harvard Law School, with work experience in the fields of entertainment spanning more than 15 years, Eki is an astute TV/Film/Stage Producer, playwright and Project Manager in the entertainment industry with records of notable events and productions to her credit.
