Psychotherapist, counsellor, relationship expert and couples therapist Melissa Ferrari says the dating world can be extremely challenging for everyone.
"When we are meeting someone for the first time, we always want to make the very best impression, which can be quite stressful and create feelings of anxiousness."Ms Nikolic agrees that fear is in all aspects of something new. Her advice from a relationship perspective is not to wait too long, or it may become a major stress point for yourself and potentially create a feeling in your new partner that you had a lack of trust in them.Ms Ferrari's other piece of advice is, if possible, to prepare for the date in advance.
"The key is not to over-prepare to the point that you become rehearsed, what is most interesting about meeting someone for the first time is getting to know them, and the best way to do that is to ask questions about who they are, how they feel, what interests them.
Ok for a start....the swipe right apps are really just for hooking up. Anyone who uses them thinking that they'll find their one in sea of superficial nonsense is thoroughly delusional. Matter of fact the majority of dating apps are just for hooking up.
