Music fans take part in Liverpool pilot concert

Covid: Music fans take part in pilot concert with BlossomsFive-thousand music fans attended a pilot concert held in a big top in Liverpool and headlined by Blossoms.

Sunday's mini-festival in Liverpool's Sefton Park was one of the government's official trial events to research how large gatherings can safely take place again. All ticket holders had to take a supervised lateral flow test at one of four testing centres in the city the day before, and were only allowed in if the test was negative.

They were also strongly encouraged to take more sensitive PCR tests on the day of the show and to do so again five days later, on Friday.

What's shocking me it's 5.000 fans going to see Blossoms? Never knew they have had this many!

Nothing postive about a broken trial 🙄 How do they expect to test covid spreading among a crowd if everyone is negative. Definitely gonna get reliable results from that 🤦🏼‍♂️

people without covid go into a room. have fun, and leave the room. why does anybody have issue with this? its also largely pointless exercise as covid doesn't just 'pop' into existence. next time, no need for negative test please.

We fcking know... You've banged on and on about it.

what airline company does the liverpool pilot fly for?
