MONTY DON has taken to Twitter to defend his colleagues while hitting back at a Gardeners' World fan who slammed the BBC show for 'replaying old clips' in the latest episode.

The frustrated viewer penned on Twitter: “Please stop replaying old clips, there are enough people sending you clips I bet not to recycle old stuff. However, Monty was quick to point out that his Gardeners’ World colleagues should be praised for filming “any new material” for the show, as they are working hard amid “the strictest Covid limitations”.

all well and good to see the odd repeat but the public deserve better ie new content they pay enough on a tv lic. to warrent new stuff not old stuff.
